Mini Whipped Body Butter Descriptions

Whipped Body Butters
All butters are made at my home, in my kitchen, with natural ingredients.

Joint Pain, Swelling and Bruising
This body butter is a combination of shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and sweet almond oil with the addition of white fir, frankincense, geranium, and lemongrass doTERRA essential oils. Rub all over or just in the areas that hurt. Remember citrus essential oils, like lemongrass, can cause photosensitivity to the sun so avoid sun exposure for at least 12 hours after you apply the butter. To avoid this, rub your body butter on your feet or where your skin is covered from the sun. Our bodies absorb wonderfully through the bottoms of our feet so it will never hurt to just apply there.
This butter has had success in healing bruising and pain from shoulder surgery and helping a gentleman feel himself again just by allowing him to walk all the way around Wal-Mart.

Cellulite and Stretch Mark with Green Tea
This body butter is a combination of shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, aloe vera, avocado oil, vitamin e oil, and green tea powder. Also assisting in the healing and fat burning process are the doTERRA essential oils: lavender, melaleuca and slim&sassy. The combination of these ingredients will help assist your body in the healing process of getting rid of unwanted “tiger stripes” and “hail damage” that we all hate! Remember citrus essential oils, like slim&sassy, can cause photosensitivity to the sun so avoid sun exposure for at least 12 hours after you apply the butter. To avoid this, rub your body butter on your feet or where your skin is covered from the sun. Our bodies absorb wonderfully through the bottoms of our feet so it will never hurt to just apply there.

Magnesium Deficiency and Headache Relief
This body butter is a combination of shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, magnesium flakes, jojoba oil, and a little aloe vera. For the assisting of headache relief, included in this butter are the doTERRA essential oils: basil, frankincense, peppermint, and lavender.  Most of us are deficient in magnesium causing many issues like headaches and migraines. This butter is recommended that you apply to the bottoms of your feet. Magnesium can sometimes cause irritation to sensitive skin. Be cautious in the sun if applied to any where on the body that is exposed to the sun.

All is Calm
This body butter is a combination of shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa butter, mango butter, and sweet almond oil. With the help of doTERRA essential oils: lavender, vetiver, marjoram, and sandalwood, this body butter is meant to help you feel relaxed and a great addition to your nightly routine. All essential oils included in this butter are calming oils to help put your mind at ease. Apply to bottoms of feet and all over your body to feel soothed and relaxed.

Skin Soothing with Aloe Vera
This body butter is a combination of coconut oil, shea butter, avocado oil, and aloe vera with doTERRA essential oils lavender, melaleuca, and roman chamomile to calm and soothe the skin. This body butter was first made to help with psoriasis and eczema but after a little sunburn, realized it was perfect for that too.  All ingredients included in this body butter assist the skin in healing and soothing problem areas. Apply wherever the problem areas exist.

Hormones and Bronzing
This body butter is a combination of cocoa butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil and a little cacao powder to give you a slight bronzed glow. The doTERRA essential oils included in this body butter are clary sage, ylang ylang, frankincense, and lavender. Apply anywhere and everywhere for a nice glow and assistance with balancing hormones. Cacao powder may build up a little in the folds of your body, just rub it back in to get rid of lines! Caution: do NOT use during pregnancy only during labor is clary sage safe for pregnancy!

Varicose and Spider Veins
This body butter is a combination of shea butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, vitamin e oil, and aloe vera. The doTERRA essential oils used are cypress, lavender and lemon to assist in circulation and healing. Rub this oil towards your heart. Remember citrus essential oils, like lemon, can cause photosensitivity to the sun so avoid sun exposure for at least 12 hours after you apply the butter. To avoid this, rub your body butter on your feet or where your skin is covered from the sun. Our bodies absorb wonderfully through the bottoms of our feet so it will never hurt to just apply there.

Joint and Arthritis Pain
This body butter contains shea butter, coconut oil, mango butter, cocoa butter, and sweet almond oil. The doTERRA essential oils included are frankincense, lemongrass, basil, marjoram, and myrrh. This butter can be massaged all over the body concentrating on the painful areas due to arthritis. Remember citrus essential oils, like lemongrass, can cause photosensitivity to the sun so avoid sun exposure for at least 12 hours after you apply the butter. To avoid this massage your body butter on the bottom of your feet or where your skin is covered from the sun.

Cellulite and Water Retention
This body butter contains shea butter, coconut oil, black cocoa butter[giving it it’s brown color], aloe vera, vitamin e oil, and avocado oil. Grapefruit, cypress, juniper, geranium, and rosemary doTERRA essential oils are added to help aide your body in releasing some of the water built up. Apply this butter on problem areas, massaging towards the heart. Remember citrus essential oils, like grapefruit, can cause photosensitivity to the sun so avoid sun exposure for at least 12 hours after you apply the butter. To avoid this rub your body butter on the bottom of your feet or where your skin is covered from the sun.

Always use caution when using a new product on your skin. Do skin tests to make sure you do not have any allergic reaction to the oils or ingredients in these body butters.  Remember citrus essential oils can cause photosensitivity to the sun so avoid sun exposure for at least 12 hours after you apply the butter. To avoid this rub your body butter on your feet or where your skin is covered from the sun.

Black&Red Hair to Platinum[and Pink] Hair!

Let's just start off with a single little statement... "husbands are great!"

So with that... my sweet boss lady's husband asked her for the first time if she would do a color on her hair that he liked...
This ladies and gentlemen is the photo he sent me...

And this is her hair before[black and red with a few little pieces of blonde] and her husband

So as a stylist we all know the work that it takes to create such a big change.
I am going to take your through each step of our process and try to get a rounded figure of how much it would actually cost our clients who want this done.

You really need to mark out your whole entire day:
[the pixie was a joke ;)]

First step: Stripping the hair - Malibu CPR $25

Second step: Malibu Quick Fix - $25

Third step: Blow Dry and get ready to apply the lightener!

Fourth Step: First round of lightener with Olaplex -
$80 for all over lightener + $20 for Olaplex

Fifth step: Let process for 20 minutes then go back through and apply to hair at scalp.

Sixth step: Shampoo only, no conditioner.

Even with no conditioner her hair was still in great shape! We were very happy!

Seventh step: Blow Dry

Looked pretty good but needed it lighter.

Eighth step: Lighten again with Olaplex avoiding the scalp
$65 2nd lightener - $20 Olaplex

Awesome! Now time for a toner!

Ninth step: Apply toner - $15 with Olaplex - $20
Tenth step: Rinse and apply Olaplaex step 2
Eleventh step: Shampoo and Condition then Blow Dry
Twelfth step: Trim or give client a new cut $30

[I'm sorry I didn't get a good photo of the color after the toner]

Now Last step: Apply the pink color - $15

Rinse just the front and the pink and there you go!
Longest day of our lives! But we did it.
Grand total:$315
and I don't think that price is quite worth it. ;)

And we are a cheaper salon considering where we are located so I'm sure at other salons you will be paying a lot more! :)

The pink was definitely a much brighter pink than this photo shows! But you get the point!

[she hates her picture taken, sorry nic but this shows that color great!]

Doesn't she just look so cute?!?!?
The pink is tucked in this photo ;)

Hope you enjoyed...

xoxo,
Stephanie

Whipped "Bronzing" Body Butter

Whipped Bronzing Body Butter
Hormonal Help

This was a fun fun one to make! Ingredients I used were Cocoa Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, Cacao Powder, Ylang Ylang[buy here], Wild Orange[buy here], and Clary Sage[buy here].

I forgot to take a photo of the oils melted.. But I melted, in my make shift double boiler, 1 cup Cocoa Butter and 1/2 cup Coconut Oil. Then I took 2 tbsp of Cacao Powder and slowly mixed in 1/2 cup of Sweet Almond Oil in a separate bowl. Let the melted oils cool just a bit the add your Cacao and Almond mixture. Store in freezer for 10-15 minutes. You don't want it hard but solid enough to mix.

Now it's time to pull out the mixer.. I use a simple hand mixer with a whisk attachment to add the air for the fluffy texture!

After I mix and get a pretty fluffy texture I add in my essential oils. The amount of the drops you use are totally up to you.

This whipped body butter looked even better than the other one I made that morning. It went from marshmallow fluff to brownie batter fluffed. :)

So lets talk some benefits of this Whipped Body Butter
[my husband hates that it's call body butter, ha ha, men].

I added Ylang Ylang Essential oil because it can be attributed to its properties as an antidepressant, antiseborrheic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, hypotensive, nervine and sedative substance. Check out Ylang Ylang Benefits for more.

I added Wild Orange mostly because it smells delicious with the Cacao but also for all it's great benefits. Orange can be attributed to its properties as an anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, antispasmodic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, carminative, diuretic, tonic, sedative and cholagogue substance. Check out Orange Benefits for more.

I added Clary Sage oil can be attributed to its properties like antidepressant, anti convulsive, anti spasmodic, anti septic, aphrodisiac, astringent, bactericidal, carminative, deodorant, digestive, emmenagogue, euphoric, hypotensive, nervine, sedative, stomachic and uterine. Check out Clary Sage Benefits for more.

The oils in this butter are to aide in helping with hormonal issues and high blood pressure. Specifically why I made this. There are plenty of other benefits and other oils to help with these issues these are just the ones I chose to use. And also to add a little color to your light skin. :)

Enjoy!

MRS E.

Whipped Body Butter

Cellulite and Stretch Mark "Help"

Whipped Body Butter

Melt 1 cup of shea butter, 1/2 cup coconut oil, 1/4 cup cocoa butter in a double boiler or homemade double boiler. ;)

You'll start to notice it melting...

And finally it's all melted!

Place in freezer for 10-20 minutes until it has solidified but not hard.

Add essential oils.
I added these doTERRA essential oils:
Slim&Sassy[buy here]
Grapefruit[buy here]
Frankincense[buy here]
Cypress[buy here]

Whip until is nice and fluffy!

Then place the yummy fluffy whipped body butter into glass jars and enjoy!!

Remember not to apply before tanning or going out into the sun!

I am so excited to see how this stuff works for all my friends. :)
I think I will add more cocoa butter next time... and I am going to play with the oils and make more of these bad boys.

This should be a fun little addition to my already huge love for my essential oils.

Mrs. E
